Multihulls for sale

Crowther 44 - SOLD
This catamaran has been in the ownership of a professional Australian shipwright and he has converted what was essentially a racing cat into a very well thought out performance cruising catamaran which has completed several ocean crossings and can reach speeds above 20 knots with daily runs approaching 300nm.The construction of the hulls is double diagonal mahogany and Kevlar laminate (450g) below the waterline plus a double overlap of Kevlar along the keel line. The entire yacht was laminated and preserved with Ampreg SP 22 epoxy. Additional carbon reinforcement along keel line, rudder areas bridge deck and cockpit sole has made for a very reassuring vessel.
Other features include specifically designed carbon bowsprit, carbon targa and carbon davits. Custom carbon sacrificial bow stem collision caps placed with Sikaflex for ease of replacement. Prepared emergency hull repair sections to fit between stringers.
The two reliable Volvo Penta 29hp engines with sail drive (boots replaced 2010) are very fuel efficient. Two new stainless steel fuel tanks were installed in 2011.
Last haul out November 20011
